Jill Joseph is a certified integrative health and nutrition coach who helps overwhelmed teachers and busy professionals quiet the stress, release stubborn weight, and boost their energy. With over 25 years of experience working closely with clients in private gyms, Jill saw that nutrition and stress management were often the missing links to lasting results. Her holistic approach connects the dots between food, mood, metabolism, and mindset to help clients feel in control of their health again. Jill lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son, and is passionate about helping others thrive.
My There was a time when just getting out of bed felt impossible. I was foggy, anxious, exhausted and trying so hard to feel better. I had a new baby, extra weight I couldn’t seem to lose, and a constant cloud of overwhelm hanging over me. I was bouncing between diets, making never-ending to-do lists, and pouring a glass (or three) of wine at night hoping it would help me relax. It didn’t.
Then came Christmas Day, 2015. I had a full-blown panic attack. My husband rushed me to the doctor, and I walked out with a diagnosis: generalized anxiety disorder—and a prescription for Zoloft. At first, it helped. But over time, I found myself needing higher and higher doses just to get through the day. I didn’t feel like myself. I felt like I was fading.
That’s when a friend asked me a question I’ll never forget:
“How much more of this medication are you going to take?”
It shook me. And it snapped me out of the cycle I’d been stuck in.
That moment became my turning point. I started learning how food, stress, and lifestyle actually impact our energy and mood. I weaned off the medication and started fueling my body in a way that truly nourished it. Slowly but surely, the fog lifted. The extra weight came off. I started sleeping through the night and waking up with energy I hadn’t felt in years.
Now? I feel like me again - clear, calm, and strong. I know how to listen to my body and give it what it needs, whether that’s movement, nourishment, or just a moment to breathe. I’m no longer stuck in survival mode, I’m thriving.
If you're feeling like you’ve tried everything but still can’t break through the fatigue, overwhelm, and weight struggles, I’ve put together a free training just for YOU.

I was incapable of losing weight and keeping it off and it had gotten to the point that I couldn’t lose weight no matter how little I ate. I felt bloated and had really bad gas all the time. I was uncomfortable in my skin. I wanted to learn how to eat healthy foods that I actually enjoyed and didn’t feel restricted by. And now I don’t feel like I’m restricted at all, which is so weird. I have so much less belly fat and I did not expect to lose so much space around my hips. My clothes fit differently, I feel like I’m in the body that I had 15 years ago, which is pretty cool. I’ve lost weight, I feel better - I feel just comfortable in my skin. What I like best is getting to spend an hour with Jill every week! I like the mindfulness, I think her approach is incredibly sensible and intelligent. I wish I had done this 20 years ago. It’s the best money I’ve ever spent!now.
I was struggling with healthy eating, especially as related to bone density and neurological health. I found tons and tons of information on the internet, but much of it is contradictory. That was SO NOT helpful, and it felt like, 'Am I doing the right thing or exactly the wrong thing?' It was very helpful to have Jill lay out what good healthy eating guidelines were, especially as related to these two domains. And it makes it a lot easier to follow a routine when you have faith in it. And I did. I’ve lost 10 pounds and I started walking at least 5 days a week. I'm just being a lot more mindful of what I’m eating…maybe I ate two plants a day before…and now I might be eating 8 or 10. That’s been a dramatic change! I’ve really liked meeting with her every week. It's been very helpful because some days you think ‘I could just easily fall away from this’. Especially when I came back from my trip - that’s usually when you fall off of things because you’ve been eating what you’ve been eating. But when you get back you NEED to get back in the routine and quite often I didn’t. But this time I did and that was great. The money might seem like a big investment, but it’s actually NOT. Especially if you’re concerned about your health. We think about and plan for retirement for 30 years, but not realizing that we need that body to be able to do the things that we want to do at that point when we have the time and the money. And if you’re not taking care of those things, you're not going to be able to do those things you want to do. I did fall in that camp and I’m just trying to be much more mindful going forward.now!
I was looking to lose enough weight so that I could feel healthy in my body. I was just so tired of the way I was trying to do things. I was very stuck. I’ve lost 10 pounds in 12 weeks which, for me, is pretty fast. I'm seeing the things I used to only fantasize about, like baggy clothes, my bra feeling too big and the scale finally moving! What I’ve liked the best is not constantly weighing and measuring my food, not having to log it on a tracker and hardly weighing myself. I was really stuck in one way of thinking about here's the only way you can lose weight; you have to track everything, you have to measure everything, you have to weigh yourself religiously and exercise religiously or you will not lose weight. And I’m seeing that’s really not the case. I feel liberated.
